Craft & Cup

Accessibility

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Craft & Cup should work for everyone who loves coffee, whatever device, browser, settings or assistive technology they use. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we build in

  • Text scales with your browser’s font size. Reading text never drops below 12 pixels; the only smaller text is the short labels under the icons in the phone tab bar.
  • On touch screens, buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Light and dark themes, each checked for color contrast.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • A skip link, headings and page landmarks, so screen reader and keyboard users can move around quickly.
  • Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them and close with Escape.
  • Form fields have labels, and errors are announced.

How we test

Every change runs an automated accessibility check (axe) on every screen, in both themes, on a phone and a desktop, before it can ship. The same test suite checks landmarks and headings and works dialogs and forms from the keyboard. Screens are also photographed at six widths to catch layouts that break. Automated checks catch a lot, but not everything, so new screens are also looked at by hand before they ship.

Known gaps

None we know of today. If you find one, please tell us, and we will list it here until it is fixed.

Tell us about a problem

If something in Craft & Cup is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it. Email [contact email] with the page and what happened, and we will get back to you.
